CHAPTER 6

The Stock Control module deals with functions related to inventory management. Transactions with stock control update the stock ledger, which tracks the quantities of stock and their cost.

The stock ledger is not the same as the general ledger. For example, the stock ledger is updated when goods are delivered when you issue a delivery order, but the general ledger is only updated when you issue an invoice.
