Which module Need PIN
This function is to choose which module needs you to enter a PIN User and password when
you edit a
transaction.
If you tick
a module here, then you need to enter a PIN User and PIN password to edit/amend
a transaction in that module.
If you untick a module, then you don’t need to
enter a PIN User and password to edit a transaction.
Therefore, if you untick a
module, then you cannot control access
rights for editing transactions from that module using the Create
New PIN User screen
above.
Refer to the two examples below to see how to use this
function.
Example
1: Checkbox is ticked for Customer
module
If the checkbox is ticked, then you
will be prompted to enter a PIN User and PIN password when you edit a transaction in this
module and select Save.
Example 2: Checkbox is unticked for Customer
module
If the checkbox is unticked, then you will NOT be prompted to enter
a PIN User and PIN password when you edit a transaction in this
module and Save. Therefore, anyone
can edit transactions as they do not need to enter the
PIN.
